Mission Statement

The New Science Journalism Project will deploy and develop new internet media technologies in order to provide a global platform that raises the professional standards of health and environmental science journalism worldwide. We will provide paid opportunities for young science communicators to strategically direct their career path into science communication and science journalism. We will reflect the urgency with which nations must unify all scientific knowledge to understand changes to our world around us. We will forge a path to where the communication of health and environmental science is a shared, meaningful and effective global process. Finally, we will guard the public’s right to accurate and relevant science news.
